Lookout Mountain, Genesee w/Evergreen Option
WOJ rides with Team Courage -- The Children's Hospitcla handicapped Sports Team
9:00 am (show up a few minutes early to ensure a 9:00 am start)
We will be riding with TEAM COURAGE (The Children's Hospital handicapped sports team). I did this ride last year with Tripp Lake of the WoJ Leadership Council and we had a blast. You will be riding with truly inspirational handicapped athletes on Team Courage -- many of whom will be riding this challenging course on bicycles built for two with their parent and/or sports mentor. I learned a lot from these guys last year and recommend it highly! If you are going to do this ride, please RSVP to me by Friday evening.
Meeting Location: Green Mountain Recreation Center, 13198 W. Green Mountain Dr., Lakewood, CO 80228 (Recommend that you mapquest directions to Green Mtn Rec Ctr as everyone will be coming from different directions)
Route description (from Team Courage website):C-470; 93 over lookout mountain; US 40 to Genesee; Evergreen option. Approximately 45 miles.
