Golden, Golden Gate Canyon Loop

Starting place: Starbucks in Golden. Located at the corner of 13th and Washington.

From the Starbucks, we will head northwest on Washington St. Turn right (north) onto Hwy 93 to Golden Gate Canyon Road. Turn left on Golden Gate Canyon Road and start a 19 mile climb up to the Peak to Peak Highway. There's a KOA and a small store near the top of the climb where we can regroup. Turn right on the Peak-to-Peak Hwy (Hwy 119). Turn right on Coal Creek Canyon Road (Hwy 72). Meet back up with Hwy 93 and turn right to return to Golden. Turn Left onto Washington St and return to Starbucks. Its about 55 miles roundtrip from Golden. Riders could also turn around at the top of Golden Gate and head back to Golden (approx. 35-40 miles roundtrip).
