Howdy Team:
1) BIG WHEELS KEEP ON TURNIN’ CONGRATS ON AN $8K WEEK: Way to go Wheels of Justice! This week, our team total has risen to $45,516 and we’ve moved up to second place in fundraising. (We are the #1 team in terms of registered riders). Now, let’s put some serious effort into getting those fundraising pages personalized and ready on the Courage Classic site, and then send out your first set of e-mail to your friends, colleagues, neighbors, clients, vendors, former classmates, co-workers, etc. The key is to cast a wide net you just never know who will give until you ask them! If you need any help getting going, please give me a call or shoot me an email.
2) Join the Wheels of Justice on Facebook: Yes, the WOJ Facebook group is growing - now 88 members.
Check it out: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=58302100863
This is a great place to post and read communications, share pictures, discuss cycling stuff with other WOJ team members. Updates are sent out for all WOJ events, so you won't miss a training ride or any other happening. If you are not on Facebook yet, and need help signing up, shoot an email to Les.Morgan@Gmail.com and she will help you get there! (This is your chance to hop on the “social networking” bandwagon, if you’re not there yet! FYI, we are also on Twitter but cant quite figure out what the heck to do with it, so for now we’ll leave it to Ashton & Demi!)
3) Recruit Other Courage Classic Registered Riders to WoJ: The Courage Classic is now CLOSED OUT at 2000 riders. But you can still recruit to build our team. If you know of anyone who is already registered for the Courage Classic but NOT affiliated with a team, please encourage them to join us. They’ll get awesome parties, training rides, free coached rides, access to free swag, great camaraderie and the knowledge that all funds raised will go straight to the Children’s Hospital Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. What’s not to like? So please do your best to recruit other riders who are already registered for the Courage Classic. Currently, 171 riders have signed up for the WoJ team. Thanks for all you’ve done to spread the word.
