Cowabunga Wheels of Justice! . . . (from San Francisco)
AND THEY'RE OFF!
The Courage Classic had it's earliest close ever last week: This bodes well for a great year for Children's Hospital, but we can still recruit more riders for the Wheels of Justice. If you know any riders already registered for the Courage Classic but not as yet affiliated with the team, please ask them to join us for great parties, apparel and camaraderie. Best of all, team synergies mean that we raise even more $$ for the kids and docs at Children's Hospital as a team than we ever could as individuals. Contact me if you know anyone who wants to join us or if you spot a strategic merger opportunity.
Fund Raising
ZING! Stop, hey, what's that sound? It's 185 Wheels of Justice riders posting their personal fundraising pages on the Courage Classic site. Now's the time gang, to take just a few minutes to put up those fundraising pages, enter the email addresses of friends, family, colleagues, service providers, clients, old flames -- yep all of 'em -- hit send on your personalized fundraising message, and watch the $$ roll in for Children's Hospital. The Courage Classic tool makes this incredibly easy, so please don’t delay. And you'll be surprised how many people will gladly pitch in to help this worthy cause and how soon you reach your fundraising goal. So set aside about 20 minutes this holiday weekend and get your fundraising engine revved. Already, the team has raised $75,000 toward our goal of $200,000. This puts us in the #2 position behind our inspiring rivals, the Research Riders (the team made up of mainly commercial real estate brokers and those who love them). The real kicker here is that the true winner of this competition between all of the Courage Classic teams is really Children's Hospital. Ride will start at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Conoco at the intersection of C-470 and Highway 93 (Morrison Road). Please be ready to roll by 9 a.m.Directions:
From C-470 turn west on to Morrison Road. Drive past the 1st stoplight and turn right into the Conoco.
