Wheels of Justice – Partners Against Cancer & Blood Disorders

As WOJ becomes a teenager, we must continue to evolve. That is why, this year we have a brand new logo. As the team has grown we have developed from “The Lawyer’s Team” to “The Cancer Team”. Which really means – The Lawyers, Cancer Patients & Survivors, The Families, The Friends, The Doctors & Caregivers, The Community Members and so many more. In 12 years, riders have registered with WOJ 27,000 times. Whether a new rider, or a returning rider, each year they train, fundraise and volunteer for the cause. Without these partners, we would not exist.

In 2018, we honor Fynn Cox, and The Fynn Fighters. Fynn and his family joined the WOJ Team in 2017 with their friends and community. Sadly, Fynn did not make it to the Courage Classic in July as he passed away in April. The Cox Family are no strangers to CHCO, Fynn was treated at an early age, when he was diagnosed with Dup15q, a very rare genetic disorder, and then DIPG, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, an inoperable/incurable brain cancer in December, 2016.  Approximately 200-300 children in America are diagnosed with DIPG and leave parents and siblings behind at a very early age. The median overall survival of kids diagnosed with DIPG is approximately 9 months with radiation and 4 to 6 months without. We have dedicated this ride, this jersey and this year to his memory. Their Partner Team Logo appears below and will be part of the 2018 Jersey Design.
